Personally having no experience of the above I would go to Baker in search of the legendary powder. THere are a few NA residents here that will probably help you out soon enough.

As for the prep before skiing it is advised as the manufacturers effort only lasts a day or 2. It helps to have the bases waxed and scraped before you use new skis.

It was half directed at you but another of the forums users, one whom you admire, also raised the issue a couple of days ago. So definitely half and half. I don't believe there are any show offs on J2ski either but thats my opinion.
J2Ski has found a varied and knowledgeable group of skiers, right from those of us who have not yet skied a single day (but remain enthusiastic about snow) right up to instructors and Pavel ) . I think it has a distinct advantage over other forums due to the size of it and varied membership. |

A few people have flagged up apparent hostility in the forum on a number of levels. I think it is a bit ridiculous personally but was interested to find out what others thought?
As a small forum I believe new members receive a pretty good welcome in comparison to elsewhere ie. TGR. |

As long as you got a good deal, thats what counts, i was just going along with the implied shock and horror of your booking then went on the question what the issues with rocket ski were, which was consequently removed by Admin.
