Allow me to be the first to rave about Banff. Where do I start? March and April are excellent months but allow me to recommend half way through february onwards. February is the best month for Rocky Mountain Magic. January gets extremely cold but by Feb its starting to warm up. Im going for 3 months starting in January. Night life is excellent with plenty clubs and pubs 48 restraunts/bars in total i beleive. Where in europe can you get a coffee on the mountain for £1?

This will be my fifth time back in Banff and i can't wait. If you have any questions relating to Banff feel free to ask!!

Cheers

Ross

I need skis.. my current skis are Nordica Hot Rod Modifieds and Dynastar Trouble Makers-being in the process of getting rid of the trouble makers. Not that i dislike them I just need something capable of getting plenty float on those powder days (doing a season in Banff) yet still able to stick a trick in the terrain park when need be. Anyoine have any ideas? I want something quite a bit wider than the trouble makers which arae 81's. Cheers lads and ladies-been looking at Dynastar Big Troubles and Armada ARV.
I didnt know the right place to post this so im probably gunning from the wrong tree however, I have a set of Dynastar Trouble Makers, skiid one week in Banff, and a few hours at breahead snow dome. I am doing my ski instructors course in Banff this year and I had to buy all mountain carving skis much to my dismay!!! So if anyone is interested id be open to offers! Just leave a reply. I don't know how much they would be worth so open to offers!

Banff, i will rave about it till the sun goes down!! I would give it a go, it will be cheaper than you think! get 2 rooms, one for yourself and your partner and one for the other 2, 2 double beds in each room. I went away with my dad for new year last year to banff and we were £700 each, 10 minutes walk to centre of town, and some of the best skiing in the world!!!
