Freezywater, you make a good point but personally I go to ski in the snow not on it.
As for your distance point-was making reference to the class of resort, it would be hard to place someone badly in Canada, at a poor resort whereas in France there are a thousand resorts you wouldn't like to be stuck at. iLoveSkiing, I'm glad I lived up to your predictions. That is true-if you can find what you want in Europe then why not! RoseR, I could find snow an hour after I left my door but its all in the quality. The America/Europe debate will rage on so maybe I will not say any more about it, everyone has valid arguments. |

Where in Canada? France? Austria? Italy? Switzerland? All are big countries with a massive range of resorts/standard. If I said I could fly to Mauritius for £800 HB and London (for Scarborough) for £100 HB it wouldn't be a fantastic comparison.

Yeah my bad, Bennyboy is right. It is 2 and a half hours from Seattle to Baker and from there it's 2 hours to Vancouver.
