Along with Australia, New Zealand and many other countries, the USA are very strict with any type of food types.
In some countries they now state a minimum fine, normally several hundred dollars. Why would you consider taking food to America? They sell it in the supermarkets, similar prices. |

Well done Mike. Pavel and I keep saying to each other - "One day"! I have the same regular conversation with a retired Austrian world cup skier ~ of course that will be much easier to arrange!
Pav & I are both still young in skiing terms, so there is a good chance! We have viewed each other ski videos, so we both know what to expect! Would that Trencher was there also! |

Not entirely lucky, I was hours swimming and taking photos, trying to get a good clean jumping-out-of-water pic of one dolphin.
It was beyond luck to get three, all in perfect composition. These kind of pics are normally taken in captive and training situations, not in the ocean. I accept the point though. Wonder what the chances are of getting a pic of three skiers, upside down and clear of the ground, unrehearsed? - ) |

It's a Lumix DMC-TZ10. My seond lumix, I left my last one on the Marbachjoch. It's actually a 12x Optical zoom, not a 10x. Takes good videos too. Took my Youtube ski vids with the previous Lumix. I don't have a prob with sunset pics, just take a pic, then a sip of wine, take another pic, then a sip....., ad nauseum, then delete all except one! |

Moneysupermarket were notifying of an annual winter policy for £26. I have just changed from Direct Travel after 10 years ~ always had good service from them, but they changed their Ts&Cs so no longer fit for purpose.

Nope. The shot was taken at 10 x Optical zoom. I then enlarged it by several multiples digitally. Will try and post the original when my laptop comes back from the menders. I was on the deck of a small boat, on the rise and fall of a one metre swell. Wet through, cos I had just been in the sea, (Pacific Ocean), swimming with the dolphins. Holding on to the rail with one hand, and the camera with the other. Shutter speed?? Hahahahaha! |
