it's a gondola from the top of the hill in arinsal. think the last arinsal gondola back to resort is 5 pm so be sure to get on the pal gondola by 4 to allow for ski times. Sure there'll be taxis back if not. Arcalis is where it's at.

andorra's about as cheap as it gets as far as i'm aware? Livingo is an equally cheap resort which should have snow but not sure about flights etc...
We're of to les carroz next week got that pretty cheap, flights to geneva 54 return (bmi baby) accom for 4 people 560 (snowbeds.com) we've all had to buy skis and stuff which has made it a bit pricey and grand massif lift passes aint the cheapest at £144 but still not too bad. you go to tamworth alot? i seem to have been there loads the past few months. Let me know about the free style coaching! |

woh cheers guys, i ski head monsters im70 don't think they're twin tips. Trencher, my old school buddy who was pretty good on the trampoline turned out to be andy bennett uk number 1 freestyle skier, he may be coming for a "shred" with us if he gets time in a couple of weeks would this be good enough company or a shade too advanced?
I'l just have to keep practicing, is it likely to hurt much if i fail to land with ski's facing downhill? |

Hello there, just recently i've been trying to dabble in some freestyle, love it! but what i was after is some tips for some jumps that look a bit cooler.
I'm confident enough in the air can do the odd star jump, can get quite high and am ok landing but I seem to be lacking the courage to do anything more daring. I'd like to start doing 180's and 360's and so on. Any tips for technique take off and landing turning etc etc.... Regards Brez |

My best mo thus far is randomly meeting a mate from primary school and his WIFE! half way en route to andorra, only to find he was staying in the same resort as myself and the good lady! What a great week that was. Another hol march the 3rd so hopefully i'll be able to add to this thread in 3 weeks time? |

indeed very cool!
will get some video "axion" next time I go and will upload to the tube. The dome is pretty quiet after 9 so plenty of space to practice. Unfortunately the next time I ski will be in Les Carroz but I have to wait 12 days to do it!! |

our coach wasn't searched at the border in jan but that doesn't guarantee you wont get searched at the 2 airports. Definately not worth the risk in my opinion. That bar was great, i remember being sat with a san mig down there in awe at the fact that on a moday lunchtime i was drinking beer surrounded by mountains and getting ready for more skiing!! A very differnt euphoria to writing up health and safety audits!!
