Rubbish trees.

Les Carroz and La Clusaz have gorgeous trees.
I loved Serre Cherre but I have to agree with Snapzzzz I have never seen trees lining the pistes as beautiful as in Morillon and Les Carroz -fairyland.

I third that. Love Les Carroz to ski.

Did this yesterday ( snow plough? )... Got a few funny looks on the high street.

My kids became proficient, then it got expensive!

Hopefully soon they'll be paying for themselves.

Hi,
My sister did a very similar injury at the end of January.
3 rd run, 1 st day, ski didn't release.

Has hospital appointment tomorrow, so will know a little more possibly.
Sounds like she is at about the same stage too.
Bad back from limping. Pain in injured knee still.
She was told in Morzine that she defintely wouldn't ski for a year.
Hello Ricard,
Is the dry slope Gloucester by any chance?

You definitely won't get a job teaching in France with your qualification, not even as a host ( see thread on here). I googled and came up with a link which says head to USA or Canada
http://www.nothinbutsnow.com/qualifications/csia-level-1/

I don't know what other European countries look for, but I think it unlikely a Canadian level 1 would be enough.

Apologies to all those who've seen this a hundred times, but for me this encompasses what learning to ski is all about.

I watch every now and then when I need a real laugh.
Stick with it, get some lessons and enjoy.
