Love those boots!!!!! Tartan and all :D
I bought new boots last year as I have mentined before, and CEM also helped me to choose where I got them. I have not lloked back except I still get sore feet and have to unclip for every chair. I think after reading what you guys have written here that my bottom clips are done up too tight!! I thought the whole boot had to be tight not just around my ankle and shin. I will try to keep the bottom clips looser thanks. Can anyone advise if it might be dangerous for me to try to ski with them unclipped to see what happens  My 7 year old skiied all morning one day last year before I noticed his boots were ALL unclipped. He was no better or worse than normal Carol |

Hi,
I have always had problems for years with sore feet when skiing (ice skating or rollerblading does the saem thing to my feet too), even worse if I had to use drag lifts. I like a chairlift so I can unbuckle my boots between runs (the family is all used to me doing this now ) Last year I had my boots professionally made / fitted by Daleboot in Kitz and it made a huge improvement. I still get sore feet but nowhere near like I used to. I spent a week in Niederau last year and they have many drag lifts and the new boots helped me cope with those. What I am trying to say is that having your boots professionally fitted (including the shell like was mentioned above) really does help alleviate some of the discomfort (though not all ) Carol |

Hi All, We have decided we may take a trip to France for a white xmas (we live in the desert) and I have come across a company called Family Ski Holidays who have offered me a Chalet in Ardent sharing with another family (they have kids the same age as mine) from 20 to 27th December for GBP2000 all inclusive with transfers. Has anyone used this group before or know anything about Ardent as we have only ever skiied Austria. I liked the short transfer from Geneva airport too.
All info apprecited Carol |

Hi Ian I have finally given in and will let my 11 year old daughter learn to board this year. Is Little W still asking you to learn? My daughter is a decent red piste skiier but I don't fancy dragging her around the mountain on her board if it is a little bit flat - this I have already told her. Now my 7 year old son wants to learn too  He can also get down any red run as long as he follows me. We have ideal family skiing and I feel like we will be starting all over again with the boards. Any other parents out there been though this? I should mention that we are also all proficient slalom (mono)water skiiers and the kids swapped over to wakeboards last year with no problem at all. that I did not mind as the boat has to drag them not me  They have both also mentioned they want the soft boots that come with a snow board too Any advice or been there done that apreciated Carol |
