Maria Alm and Kitzbuhel Xmas and New Year. Back after 2 years out due to moving jobs and countries! Can't wait as bought new skis just before end of last trip and want to get on them!

Thanks for the info guys!!! I was wondering about having to buy 2 different lift tickets as well so thanks for clearing that up for me. Now to see if I can get flights out of Muscat :)

Hi All
Haven't been on here in a while. Have been busy moving countries and thought we'd be unable to afford a trip this year. Didn't want to get jealous reading all your reports! anyway - have scraped together the pennies but we are unable to go until 6th April. I have been looking at Kaprun (for height) and have found an apartment for a reasonable amount but it is in Maria Alm so a 30 minute trip every day. I think it is a different ski pass as well. Does anyone have any suggestions for accommodation in the area and could also tell me what it is like to ski the Kaprun glacier? Any info appreciated and its good to be back on the site!!! |

Just got back from 10 days in the Skiwelt area - I totally agree with DaveMac, great skiing area throughout and I am currently trying to look at cheap deals to go back again in March
