Could make a considerable difference to choice of resort.
Also type of accomodation and importance of things like ski in ski out.

For skiing I would put Les Arcs above Serre Chevalier and Les Deux Alpes, but these are both good resorts/places to ski.

If the accomodation, price, etc etc was good I would consider any of these three.

Les Arcs worth a look and have you considered Les Deux Alpes??
Serre Chevalier is a sweet little place as well.

Ferrari in Cortino D'Ampezzo? (or should this be Lancia?)

Where else and what would work best in Aviemore??

Have a look at the owners abroad website for apartments.
If not high season some of these are available for lets of less than a week.
