For me it just goes in one ear and out the other. Hence the 'air out'.

It's so exciting to see it now! I love the weather forecast on the Val Di'isere website:
This morning, the reliefs are stocked with frequent fog in the mountains. A rain-snow limit towards 1500 and 1000 m. This afternoon, showers mainly affect reliefs with the cold. Not entirely sure what that means, but it is snowing. Yay! |

Here are my thoughts:

Generally, if the resort is closed due to lack of snow, they will bus you to the nearest place that does. Usually a glacier, and if that's the only resort for miles, expect queues.

Hopefully there's enough around for everyone to have a decent holiday whenever they go.
Just pleased I haven't booked anything yet. |

I just popped in to my local convenience store for something (ok, wine) and there was a distinct smell of what I recognised to be melted wax, naturally this reminded me of skiing (but I doubt there was anyone waxing their skis out the back of the Co-Op).
What reminds you of skiing, BEFORE you actually leave the country for your holibobs/seasons? |
