Skiing in Le Tour
Le Tour (Ski Pass Mont Blanc), France (1450m to 2190m)
A small satellite village of Argentiere and on the huge Pays Du Mont Blanc pass. Small separate ski area of its own, famous for having the most snowfall in France (up to five metres/16 feet). The local Vormaine area is regarded by many as the best place for beginners and intermediates in the Chamonix Valley.

Le Tour
The French ski resort of Le Tour is part of the Ski Pass Mont Blanc Area with access to 490 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Le Tour itself (10 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Pass Mont Blanc ski resorts of Argentière, Chamonix, Combloux, Cordon, Les Contamines, Les Houches, Megève, Passy Plaine Joux and St Gervais Mont-Blanc.
With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
Snowmaking :- Le Tour is able to augment natural snow, on 3km of ski runs, with 23 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity :- The 5 Ski Lifts of Le Tour are able to uplift 8,700 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
There are two airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Le Tour are perfectly feasible. Sion Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
