An amazing Tyrolean village in that, in addition to a history dating back to 1500BC, a lovely atmosphere and first-rate skiing, it has its own underground railway system. Not bad for a population of 900! Especially good facilities for children.

Since 2005 the village has been jointly promoted with neighbouring Fiss and Ladis. The three villages in the Inn Valley are located in one of the sunniest areas in the Tyrol, clocking up more than 2000 hours of sunshine each year.

The Austrian ski resort of Serfaus (in Tyrol) has direct access to 160km of downhill skiing, with 82 individual pistes, served by 53 ski lifts.

With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Serfaus is able to augment natural snow, on 115km of ski runs, with 300 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 53 Ski Lifts of Serfaus are able to uplift 60,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are two airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Serfaus are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
