Fiss - Ski Resort in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Austrian Alps - 204km of Piste (1200m to 2820m)

A peaceful traditional village with a compact centre. lift linked to Serfaus and with Ladis sharing a lift ticket. Skiing is on sunny trails, with the area receiving up to 2000 hours of sunshine a year (an average of more than five hours every day). Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with its three historical villages is located on a sunny high plateau above the Tyrolean Inn Valley, framed by the mighty 3000-metre Samnaun mountains and the Ötztal Alps. Here winter sports fans have the choice of 185 km of ski runs, of which 135 km are at over 2000 m altitude, 146 km of cross-country skiing trails - groomed daily -, more than 50 ski lifts, freeride slopes, terrain parks, and the whole gamut of winter fun sports.

Fiss

The Austrian ski resort of Fiss is part of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area with access to 204km of downhill skiing, with 87 individual pistes, served by 70 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Fiss itself (204km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski resorts of Ladis and Serfaus.

With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Fiss is able to augment natural snow, on 155km of ski runs, with 1000 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 70 Ski Lifts of Fiss are able to uplift 87,250 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Fiss are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
