Hi, so I have finally decided to jump in and learn to ski, see what all the fuss is about if you will, and I thought getting some advice on a forum might be a good idea. I am planning a trip up to Jackson Hole this winter, and am hoping to get in some lessons there. Do any of you guys have some tips for a first timer?

I've been chatting with several "experts" on ski.com, trying to get quotes on lessons, lift tickets, etc. The only problem is that I won't be needing lodging(will be staying in my time share), so they sometimes seem hesitant to work with me.

Never had a great problem. Go on the relevant ski instructors site for the area, drop them an emai. Unless it's a busy month most times you can just rock up on the day before and arrange something.

https://www.jacksonhole.com/beginner-ski-lessons.html seems like the place to start...seems like a hell of a cost too ..cheaper to come to Europe
