La Hoya, Argentina (1350m to 1850m)
A small ski are located 16km (10 miles) from Esquel City in an area first skied in 1930 by enthusiasts and in the 1940s by the local military, although the current lift infrastriucture dates back less than 20 years. It has a reputation for a long snowy season and for remaining open when the country's other ski areas have closed.
