Situated in the Valais region, Saastal is renowned for its reliable snow and extensive ski area. With over 145 kilometers of slopes, it caters to skiers and snowboarders alike, ensuring a memorable experience.

The ski area of Saastal comprises the ski slopes of Saas Almagell, Saas-Fee and Saas Grund.

The ski area includes 3 Ski Resorts with a combined total of 56 marked pistes, served by a total of 35 ski lifts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Saas Almagell, Saas-Fee and Saas Grund.

With ski lifts as high as 3,500m 11,483ft , skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing

Saastal features the Saas Fee ski area, which boasts an elevation of up to 3,600 meters. Notable pistes include the Allalin and the Morenia, serviced by lifts such as the Alpin Express and the Felskinn cable car, providing access to a variety of runs for all skill levels.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Saastal is Sion, 70 minutes drive away.

Geneva, Basel, Berne, Milan Malpensa and Annecy airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Saastal, fly into Geneva or Zurich airports, then take a train or drive to the resort. Well-connected transport options make the journey easy and enjoyable, enhancing your ski trip experience.
