Monte Bondone

A ski area rather than a resort, with north-west facing slopes on Monte Palon (2090m). Accommodation is in a number of local villages (Vaneze, Norge and Vason). Apres ski options are therefore mostly low key in local bars and hotels although Trento is only a 30 minute drive.

Monte Bondone is part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta area with access to 380km236 miles of downhill skiing, with 319 marked pistes, served by a total of 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Monte Bondone itself (18km11 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta ski resorts of Folgaria - Lavarone - Fiorentini, Folgarida / Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, Paganella Ski, Passo Tonale, Pejo, Pinzolo and Ponte di Legno.

With ski lifts as high as 2,100m6,890ft, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Monte Bondone is Bolzano, 63 minutes drive away.

Verona, Brescia, Bergamo, Treviso, Innsbruck Airport, Venice, Bologna, Parma and Milan Malpensa airports are all within three hours drive.

Bolzano is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
