Sommeralm

There are two separate ski lifts on Sommeralm which is itself one of two separate ski areas by Fladnitz. The Pirstingerkogellift is a 500m long T-bar lift that's ideal for families. The base station lies on 1320m above sealevel and the ski run has a good snow recoprd due to its location on a north facing hillside. Seehöhes. The elevator is particularly Schneesicher on the basis of his/its North-hillside-situation.

The Holzmeisterlifte on the Sommeralm are two parallel 900m long T-bar lifts rising from 1240m to 1400m.

There's full snowmaking and a half pipe.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Sommeralm is Graz, 62 minutes drive away.

Klagenfurt, Vienna, Linz and Bratislava airports are all within three hours drive.

Graz is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Infrastructure

The three ski lifts are able to uplift 1,800 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 3km2 miles of ski runs, with 10 snow cannons.
