A rambling hill-side village at the entrance to the beautiful Ziller Valley. Particularly well suited to beginners and early intermediates with excellent rail and road links to other Ziller Valley resorts which share the Super Zillertal Pass.

Fügen is part of the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area with access to 379km235 miles of downhill skiing, with 49 marked pistes, served by a total of 46 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Fügen itself (155km96 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski resorts of Aschau im Zillertal, Hochfügen and Kaltenbach.

With ski lifts as high as 2,410m7,907ft, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Fügen is Innsbruck Airport, 36 minutes drive away.

Munich, Salzburg, Bolzano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Memmingen, Linz and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
