Ehrwald

Ehrwald has two local ski areas - the Ehwalder Alm and the Wettersteinbahnen-Sonnennang. The local glacier skiing is reached by bus or car and cable car from this picturesque village on the German border. There are numerous other small skiing areas nearby, offering a combined total of around 200km in trails on the Pass.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ehrwald is Innsbruck Airport, 60 minutes drive away.

Memmingen, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Munich, Friedrichshafen, Bolzano, Salzburg and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

The 24 ski lifts are able to uplift 22,743 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 20km12 miles of ski runs, with 113 snow cannons.

When is Ehrwald open?

 Open from : December 18, 2020.

 Closes : April 10, 2021.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
