The mountains surrounding Bach boast over 100 km of skiable terrain, ranging from beginner-friendly slopes to challenging expert runs. Notable pistes include the scenic Hermann Maier run and the reliable Bockstein lift, which takes skiers up to an elevation of 2,500 meters.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bach is Klagenfurt, 29 minutes drive away.

Graz, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Ljubljana, Memmingen, Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck Airport, Trieste, Zurich and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Graz and Klagenfurt are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Bach, travelers can fly into Innsbruck Airport (approximately 90 km away) or Salzburg Airport (about 150 km). From there, a scenic drive or shuttle service will take you directly to the resort.

The two ski lifts are able to uplift 2,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 3km 2 miles of ski runs, with 10 snow cannons.
