Suitecase nightmare!

I'm going with Easy Jet at 6.35 on Thursday morning...I'm hoping that they will be prepared as they have had plenty of warning, but I guess I am more likely to see pigs fly!

On the easy jet website it says "An additional non-refundable fee is charged per flight for the carriage of bicycles, golf equipment, skis, surfboards, wind surfers, hang gliders, and firearms. Ski boots will have to be checked in as normal hold baggage subject to hold baggage fees and cannot be carried as hand baggage due to security reasons."

I have never had a problem taking boots on as hand luggage before and will have them in my hand luggage on Thursday despite the above. I will however be prepared to quickly swap things around if necessary at check in.

What is more of a worry to me at the moment is the snow that's on it's way here and how it might affect Gatwick on Thursday!

Hope you had a great holiday. Washing and repacking now I'd imagine :D

Soooooo in bed 11.15 asleep at 11.20 equals 5 minutes, giggle, giggle  Sorry Ian could not resist that one.

I was in Les Men, 6.30pm all ski instructors assembled on the mountain holding torches and coordinated themselves to spell out 2009 which then changed into 2010. Then they all came skiing down the mountain like a snake. At 7.30pm there was a huge public fire work display and free gluwein or hot chocolate. After that we went and had a nice meal and a couple of drinks and was in bed by 10pm. We set the alarm for 11.55pm, went onto the balcony and watched all the fireworks that were being set off all over the place and joined in the cheering and whistling that echoed around the resort. Was back in bed at 12.20 and up and at the lift by 9.30!

It was almost magical! :D

Looking at the webcams, I don't think there'll be any worries there.

What are you going to do with your extra set of ski gear now? Sell it on ebay?

Ally

I don't know, I might get round to putting a few bits on ebay, to help pay my credit card bill which as you can imagine took a battering in Les Men!

I won't be able to sell my old boots as they have been adjusted to accomodate a bunion on one foot. It's a shame as they are only three years old...Only been used for four weeks.
That is very sad news.
