Great to hear you finished your trip with a good ski day :D

Sounds as though Mrs. Eggman will have had a good day too - I hope she went shopping with your credit card!
I received a text from the Eggman today to say it was snowing in Les Contamines! :-)
Just so you can prepare yourself Kate - this is what Les Gets looked like on 18th January 2007! We had to go to Avoriaz every day where conditions were much better. Les Gets was offically closed for the whole week we were there, which meant I got a nice little chunk of insurance money back. I made sure I obtained a letter from the tourist office stating the dates of the closure.

By the 26th, & after 36 hours of snow, it looked like this & reopened! What a pity we had to go home that morning so didn't even get a chance to ski there. :(

Don't give up hope ..... it can all change very quickly!

What's a lid knob?
:( snow-forecast.com isn't giving any snow up to 10th Feb & temps warming up a bit over the coming weekend.

Try not to despair - 24hrs of snow can make a massive difference, I just really hope the current weather patterns do change for you!

That's odd - the original boot never disappeared from my page - now I've got a pair of them!

:( :( :( Sad photos (although I have much, much worse ones from Les Gets in January 2007)! Hope you found some good snow elsewhere. Will keep doing the snowdance ready for your return.

 No wonder you had to have an operation on your feet looking at those boots - surely you've stopped wearing them now?
