Annoyingly my at the time girlfriend had to replace her passport in January as it had expired. Two weeks ago we got married so she has to change it again! Another 72 quid!

Watching it, I was really worried something was about to go horribly wrong. Your new wife must be very brave - well done.

That's one holiday activity definitely off my list!

Ally

The lady laughing in the background was the pilots wife. I thought if she is laughing the it must all be ok

Those of you that have been to Neiderau (and there seems to be quite a few) may have seen Jurgen soaring the skies with his tandem Paraglider.

Well on our Wedding day my new Wife decided to have a go. Unfortunately running in ski boots it was never gonna be pretty

A torquise pair and a white pair.

Kim had Volkl something or others and I had some Atomic Drives which although were fairly low end I really enjoyed the longer length and the not so extreme radius. My Streetracer 10's can be a bit OTT at times.

Absolutely. After our skis failed to turn up last week we ended up hiring. We both absolutely hated our skis on the first day but loved them every day after. It's amazing how you get used to a certain pair of skis. Subconciously you expect the ski to turn in a particular way and as soon as it doesn't it don't 'alf make you sweat a bit
Help with my shortlist

Ischgl looks like its going to be taken off now, as its proving stupidly expensive to get a holiday there.
Solden has a couple of better priced hotels.
I did my research regarding Solden and Obergurgl, and there is half as much skiing again at Solden and a more interesting place off the slopes too.
Schladming is however looking like becoming the Austrian number 1 now.

Don't forget to add Hochgurgl to the Obergurgl ski area. It's a gondolla ride away.

Having said that, Schladming for the night race is well up on our list.

.....congratulations to you both!!! Couldn't have happened to a nicer couple.

Lovely idea, but did the wedding bit not encroach on the skiing/drinking time?? )

Probably no more than a couple of hours. I'd live with that
