Soldeu (El Tarter) £485 for flights, transfers, ski carraige, catered chalet (free wine with evening meal) and Grandvilara lift pass!

The party will come to an end soooon

Yes, so I'm enjoying it why I can...Now, I really should get back to ski holiday bargain hunting!

There's no cure...Sorry.

You'll find yourself watching webcams anyway, downloading ski dvd's and going to ski shops to do window shopping. What I also do sometimes is go out in the cold for a long walk and then go to a nice warm pub that has a log fire and order a jagermeister. Then sit there thinking about good times had and the good times to come.

I forfeit all my summer holidays now so that I can have more than one ski holiday.
what do you wear on the flight?

I've never had my hand luggage weighed. They usually ask to look at it though so I guess it's to check the size. I have actually mentioned to them that my ski boots are in my hand luggage and have never had a problem yet.

That's what about 2 hours of skinning... skiing down an Arete, dropping into a 42deg couloir, skinning another hour or more up to another ridge and then dropping into another face before skiing through the trees to a XC skiing track at the bottom of the valley and having to XC ski out of the valley back to civilisation.

It was 24 hours before I could think of skiing again... now I'm back at work and thinking about next weekend!!! :D

Light weight!

Oh no! Most people had terrible starts to their holidays, maybe they simply weren't able to get there. Or perhaps you were all too shy to ask strangers if they were J2Skiers!

I was half way down the Sarenne and got talking to a couple about the weather and flights, I mentioned having to miss an interview because of cancelled flights and he asked me if I was snowbndit on j2ski. Small world, I felt famous for a moment!

The whole point of our short break was to ski with Tonyh and his crew, that never happened either, due to the catalogue of delays and cancellations.

Chin up we all ended up having some fantastic skiing days! :D

it is called work

God works in Mysterious ways, something tells me he wants me to have a bit of rest from the 'w' word. So I am just trying to find things to occupy my time. I hope he sends me some money next!
