Check with your bank to find out the rate on debit cards as they all differ.
If you have a nationwide current account they just charge you the interbank rate only so cheap for us.
Do not use credit cards as these rip u off
have a look on moneysavingexpert as i think there is plenty of guidance on this.

Footbeds Query

yes,
maybe just an observation by me with the beds having not bothered looking at them before wondered i other folks were all different, but will ask the bootfitter when i am next in.
Could also just be a technique issue so some more lessons on steeps hopefully may sort :D

The footbeds are weight bearing vac moulded ones,
no problem with comfort of general fit, can wear them happly for 6-8 hours with no problems no slop/pinching etc, just having problems on steeps going left as i feel as if i cannot get onto the outer edge of the uphill ski and whilst cleaning the boots took out the beds and noticed which got me thinking

Hi,
Took my footbeds out of my boots today (custom ones)and placed them side by side on the kitchen worktop and was amazed to find that both are radiaclly different both in height and shape?
Is this normal????
Never checked before but do have a slight issue with outer edge control on uphill ski (on steeps only, but could be just my poor technique, due to have more lessons soon to check)
Any thoughts would be helpful :D
Stopped snowing?

You will be fine, only the bottom blue run was closed @ zell when i was there.
On the up side its easier to get around the town with no snow.
Make sure you buy the ski pass for the Kaprun and Zell combined area = 197 euros.
If you fancy something different and are very keen for an extra 16 euros you can get the pass to cover the Sallbach ski area as well, if you have time and they have had really good snow this season and really good runs.
Have a good time :D
