Tino might inform you the Chilean Sauvignon or Merlot was particularly good. I prefer a good Cahteauneuf-du-pape myself, but tend to drink rose this time of year. I came across a particularly good couple of bottles in Rainbow recently: a Syrah at half price (£3.49) and the Andrew Peace rose which is seriously recommended when its on offer as well.

Fred Drift.

As for early season skiing, should you find yourself in a certain Ziller Valley in Austria, try the local Zweigeld red, its fantastic.

Well funnily enough my favorite tipple at the moment is a good Carménère from chile, which falls somewhere between a Cabernet and Merlot, a lovely drinking wine in its pure form and not too full bodied.

Mayrhofen, if you find a drag lift, I wanna know about it!!!! ;)

Seriously, there are a couple somewhere but you can do the whole range in many ways without using one.

Wow, some great information and advice!! Seems like the process is not so simple, least of which is finding a place where you can actually move into. I have looked at some agents websites just to get an idea, and it seems most indicate which properties have a permit allowing sale to a foreigner, but its not very many!! Am hoping also if I do go ahead that I can arrange finance through my bank, either locally in Germany or through thier international operations (Deutsche Bank) but again I am not sure how/if this works.

I think I have mentioned the fact that Delta actually employs dead people as cabin crew before?

Allthough that's slightly innacurate it's a good indicator ;)

That list is upside down (with the exception of Andorra which I have never experienced), and even then I think it's a little unfair on the Italians )

This weekend in Saas Fee I had local farmers giving me tips on which cows to bet on in the cow fighting the next day.....at 1.30am in the bar!!
