I have never had lessons in Lech, but the Lech Tourist Information website should have the information you need. I don't think the lessons will actually be in Zug, but in Lech. The linking ski buses are very efficient though.

Obergurgl would be great - although I am not sure I would want to be a beginner there? Hopefully someone on this forum has learnt to ski in Obergurgl/Hochgurgl and can reassure you on this however. :D

I seem to recall having a wonderful pancake and hot chocolate in Cafe Schneider in the main street of Lech quite close to the cable car entrance. I think there is also a coffee stop and viewing platform (plus small museum) at the top of the cable car.

If you start the circuit in Zug, then you will have to cross the main road in Lech to get to the Rufikopf cable car. It's not a problem and you could always have a quick refreshment stop there anyway! We usually start with the Rufikopf cable car thus completing the Ring back in Lech.
There is also a particularly annoying bit of poling on the red route back down to Zug. |

Well I now seem to be in Lech the week before you are in Zug Biki! I shall make sure I leave the place as you would wish to find it!!

What better way to spend a few minutes on Christmas Day than to book a trip to Lech leaving on 13th January - at last I can go on THE list :D :D
