Scandinavia or Europe?

In Canada, LM is in one of the best locations for E-O-S dependable snow --- Sun Peaks in British Columbia. People I know that have seen this first hand as well as other areas for comparison are the first to say so! But check before you travel

I agree Ian ... this is a sad time of year.

This is what I was saying here ...http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/5925.page when bandit suggested her trip may be of interest :D

Some friends are spending the weekend at Val d'Irene, a ski hill in the Gaspe area of Quebec. (See the video below.) They always say what great amounts of snow exists there. Despite the warming spring weather, tonight is supposed to be in the -6C range for the Amqui region. Today was +2 and sunny after a cold night last night. Perfect end of season conditions. Val d'Irene is about 7 hours from Halifax, N.S.; and the hill itself has some steep sections and snow quality similar to Zermatt. Enjoy this clip then get out a fly swatter for the next season to come along :!:

Bandit you seem to be upsetting everyone these days, I think you need to get away and ski..... :D

Ian, I'm not upset :!: Who's unpset

Did bandit suggest you join her on the trip .. or perhaps she may value just Canadian company  OK- that may be reaching the end of the limb ... but being an agressive skier, I like to live on the edge

Have fun packing bandit!!

I agree.. just kidding with my comments

It is a sad world and when we come upon an honest person, we often don't trust that there isn't a ulterior motive behind their "kindness". Just as Admin points out in being careful what we put on the internet.

bandit wrote:I'm heading off to Geneva tomorrow, for 2 weeks skiing in Valais, you would be very welcome :D

That's very kind of you bandit :D I'm sure it would be a lot of fun.

But I have a lot of the Saturday morning chores left over from the winter to take care of. You know ... life gets in the way...

I really like the idea of starting the season in October with a group from Canada who travel to the Zermatt in October. Look here if interested:
http://www.myswisstrip.ca/ This sounds like a blast of a trip and would be open to all. We have the added airfare costs.

I hope you have a really great trip; and believe me your suggestion is really tempting :!: I look forward to seeing some pictures!
