Ok cheers for that, it doesn't sound to terrible. Sounds pretty similar to the skiing we had in Saint Gervais last weekend which was fine just getting a bit hard work in the afternoon. Shame there's no new snow on the horizon, will keep doing the dance!

Hi, going Saint Gervais on the 3rd of March till the 7th. Had accomodation sorted for 9 of us (freinds apartments) unfortunatley one of these appartments has fallen through, due to a long term let(bummer). So need to find accomodation for 3 people for the 4 nights :-o Anyone out there got any advice/recommendations for places to stay? just want somewhere basic down in the village hotel/b&b or apartment, any help would be really appreciated

Cool got myself a neat little (Dry) travel iron of ebay new for a tenner delivered. Scrapers and brushes are easy to find, can anyone recommend some wax?? i know there is lots out there but i would rather use something tried and tested. Also i ski a fair bit at Hemel so is one type of wax more suitable for artifitial snow than the rest? come to think of it will more than likely be skiing on artifitial snow come March too!! Lastly before i bore you all too much, can anyone recommend a decent edge tuning tool, there is loads out there but most look cheap and nasty, do they all do an adequate job?? ) Ta for the help.

No Dave they where some Atomic supercross, not bad for a hundred and twenty quid it would have cost me more to hire for two ski trips. Did notice the adverts for servicing whilst looking for skis, but quite fancie doing them myself. Will get hunting on the bay again, reckon its been about 13years since I last waxed a pair  will get some oldies out the loft and do a practice run in them 1st.
