After a 45 minute faff-on with the Deutsche Bahn website, a nice special price ticket to the land of smelly cheese and hills is arranged for Friday afternoon. Worry about the peripherals such as sleeping and insurance tomorrow, need my bed.

I only take coffe at breakfast, so groovy on that question. I am a boarder so he will have no trouble skiing my boots off :) however if it's a 1000m descent to the pub to avoid the round he may be in trouble :)

No agenda here, but have you considered changing discipline? Snowboarding offers soft boots and now you can buy bindings that can be individually set to cater to the tilt and cant of an individual foot. I am no expert in this, but have been paying attention to Trenchers astute advice. It may be worth looking into?

Anyone booked flybe recently?

Just booked Dusseldorf to Gatwick return and on top of published fare there were taxes and fees. Fair enough I hear you cry. Then 12 EUR for a 15kg either way, 8 EUR for a SEAT either way (I mean will they let me stand?), 6 EUR booking fee either way and 6 EUR credit card fee. Advertised at about 80 EUR actual cost 190 EUR.

If you feel violated by Ryan Air then I feel like I've been hung drawn and quartered by Flybe!

Erm, I might pass on that one fella.

I only take 1 pair usually and wash em in the shower every time I have one, plan goes a wee bit tits up when you don't get in from après ski till 5am mind.

I may be interested in joining you if I can organise my travel independantly and meet you there. PM some details if you would be so kind. Such important things like how much booze is included and if there is a fireplace where I can melt my boots with.

Can only ski Monday to Friday?!?!??!
