depends on the budget...i like Andorra for beginners..lots of English instructors and a good inclusive ski package and on top of that its affordable

Totally agree with the above but cant emphasise enough the importance of making your equipment stand out..i have stenciled my initials in six inch letters over my ski bag after my experience at geneva

So ..they wanted a suggestion as to where to ski whilst in Italy...there might be a good chance of that there and as they are going in October they can look if there is any there before they go
