I might be showing my ignorance here but what on Earth is a Fosters Suit? It was Spyder, as is the softshell I bought last week.
Since St. Anton I've gone red and tight Tony, the doctor tells me I have a problem ;) |

Hola senior!
I love Saas Fee in terms of the town/village itself, only snowboarder there in August so can't help with December conditions really. You are going Glacier so there is always sliding to be done, I would take a punt and go for it. Heading for Austria mid December and I amnit worried about snow cover in the slightest. Mind they have 350 snow cannons in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. As Bandit suggests, I'll Let you know how it looks in Zermatt tomorrow. |

you heard it here first, at the ripe old age of 34 I am growing up ;). Although many would say furniture is more important than a day on a hill ......... Fools. FYI, two weeks ago in Zermatt, I sat on my behind one time only on the slopes. That was to take some piccies |

absolutely, I set myself a 30 day goal last season and accomplished it in August!! in Saas Fee. I wanted to get 45 this season but am thinking of attempting 60, at least 15 before 23rd December. This really depends onwhat kind of season we have, if we have a good one then I can ride in the Black Forest for the price of a Friday night out. Might be lucky enough to tag a week in Japan to a business trip to Singapore in Feb :) all I do these days is work 12-14 hours a day, eat and sleep during the week. Then spend the weekend messed up, doing this is marginally more expensive but infinately healthier for both body and mind as well as being the most fun you can have upright ;) |

I figured if I cut all other expense like going out at home, eating nicely rather than basically, clothes, booze etc. then I could do this every other weekend through the winter. With advance offers on trains, doing a wee deal with accommodation in Zermatt etc. Toyed with the idea of an international season pass for both sides of the hill, but it's 1000 EUR and would take 30 days to pay back, when work can veto my personal plans without notice probably not worth it.
I'll be selling my furniture soon and moving into student digs :) |
