Sounds like you had a great time...we did most of that except the lift up Le Caron..didn't have time (cuts a chunk off when you are in Brides)I know what you mean about skiing as a group ..lost mine going down la rocher noir(they didn't know left from right) and covered some real mileage after that..but the lifts on that side dont seem to really link..The improvements to la plattieres will really help next year to get there with a bit more time to spare
what I really miss about the place is the runs through the trees ...not many of them except in La tania,,and that was a bit slushy when we went..i missed doing jockey this time as its a bit low and didn't fancy water skiing |

the skiing is fantastic but the place is a trifle ugly

well having just got back from Brides I can report that it cost me £500 self catering apartment and lift pass and ski carriage. I ate out every evening but took my lunch with me but had the odd coffee on the slopes spent about €200 on that so all in all about £670 for the week...

quite right about the planes...MUCH preferred the train I am even looking at Snow express coaches how about a Salzburgerland pass a bit further but lots of places to ski on the same pass..really got to do it by car though

There is and alternative...go by car and stop in the middle ...Taninge is 15 minutes from the PDS and Grande Massiff as well as a few smaller resorts
and an hour from la Clusaz and le Grande Bornande or try Bourg ..directly linked with Les Arcs and not too far from anywhere else and with cheaper accommodation and reasonable restaurants |
