This summer, Neilson are to offer a new variation on a traditional sport.

I quote from their Facebook page.. "This summer we'll have Extreme Ironing courses available to book in our centres. Has anyone tried it before?"

Do you think anyone from J2Ski would be interested in this unique development?
Well done Ally, and thanks for all your hard work so far. I am already looking forward to it massively :D

As per your request, here are some links to pistemaps. The first is the entire Espace Killy, and the second one is a more localised map for Les Brévières.

The maps are linked to larger versions of the same picture, so clicking on them will load the full size image.

As you can see, there is a nice blue all the way down to the village, as well as a red and of course La Sache, so it is suitable for just about all levels of skier.

As long as the tanker drivers do not strike.

I fully agree with that statement Snapzzz, but what I doubt, is that humans (and tanker drivers) can be counted among the life that will evolve.

I have these strange pictures in my mind of a visitor to the planet in a million years time, being met by giant cockroaches, all having fun on skis on a planet almost completely covered in ice

Oops, jus realised this is not the general wibble thread
