Yep, right foot in front is definitely goofy. No idea why

It is surprisingly difficult to lead with your 'wrong' foot!
Winter at last!

I'm hoping the joy will override the bumps and bruises. I'm assuming that I won't have to worry about my knee brace as it'd be pretty hard for me to twist my knees?

The only time I can see your knees would be at risk is if you have one foot in whilst scooting about, a fall wouldn't be great then.

You will have bindings, they just won't be the same as the ones on your skis ;)

You could work out whether you are 'regular' or 'goofy' (which foot will be at the front of the board) before you go. If you stand relaxed and have the OH push you, whatever foot naturally goes forward first should be your leading foot.

You don't really need to know your weight, just be prepared to be sore.

Also be prepared to not love it as much as skiing
