Does anyone have any recommendations re: Snow boots (not ski boots).
I would like boots that keep my feet warm, dry and comfy. They need to have really good grip and look reasonably stylish/not too bulky. :D |

Les menuire is too expensive, better suited to larger groups (imo) and I would not recommend the place for beginners.
Soldeu will suit your budget, is good for beginners and is a friendly enough town for two 'ladies' in there 40's. You can trust me on this one because I am a lady in my 40's also...shut it Wickers! |

Hi Nelly, I share your excitement but my friends who are teachers (and not skiers) do not. They're all back at work now and feeling glum as their summer holidays are over and they have a whole year to wait for the next summer holiday!
This is the time of year when I start getting excited about my holidays and take pleasure in the temps falling! Everytime someone moans about summer being over I irritate them with my yippees and woops! :mrgreen: Bring on the cold weather!!! :wink: |
