My word, it always amazes me when I open a thread entitled "Today" and before opening it, think, what is 4 pages worth of "Today" and ending up with so much drama from something so simple.
Tony, glad you had a good day today which has unfortunately been marred by someone obviously who has it in the neck for you. I think too many posts which are inoffensive have been 1 starred to make it something actually relevant to what the star system is about. I think the star system is being used as some sort of vengence about something you may have said in previous posts that has narked someone. I dont think it would have mattered what the post was about. I think the star system should be disabled as it is pretty pointless. So, Dave, when you move "up North" give me a bell and I'll make you a cuppa and a nice ham and pease pudding sarnie lol |

ooh what a good idea! I also posted my thread on snowheads so it cannot be good advertising for them. I am about to write my letter of disgust at the service I recieved so I will let you know of the outcome. |

quote]So on that basis, what makes you think Serre Che is not for you?
I cant remember Tony, I jusst remember you talking about it a while ago and i did have a look at it but ruled it out, I cant remember why. I also took a quick look at what it says on this forum about serre che for beginners (which I suppose we would class ourselves) and it only gets 3 stars. I also looked at sauze doulx quickly and from doing a quick search the snow records for march do not appear to be too good. I am also busy looking for a summer holiday for this year so I really have only been taking sneak peaks and will take a longer look at them later. I must compile a dataabase of reasons why i rule these places out. Note to self - get better organised. |

that is a class video!! i especially like the fact that you can see your shadow on the ground so you can actually see your body moving and not just a lot of scenery passing by.

Tony I suppose it depends how you look at it. So far (apart from the skiing I did 20 years ago) we are only 2nd week skiers and we much prefer doing cruisy blues with nothing too taxing, although when i say "we", i mean "me" as i am sure the kids, given the chance would go to the top of a black run, stick their poles under their arms, go hell for leather, and hope they reached the bottom without falling over! |
