Two choices over in Fornet, either the one at the bottom under ther cable car station, or at mid station called le signal, both are pretty good. There is another to the right of the piste as you ski back to the bottom, called Edelwiss (I think!), food is superb, but with a price to match.
In Val, the Banana Bar should be reopened by the time you go, that's always been very good value for food. The one at the bottom at La Daille just across the bridge is good. The Follie Douce is ok, though not as good as it used to be before they took over. Right hand side of path on way back to Val from Santons piste, there's a nice one. The big one on he Grand Motte used to be ok, though I can't recall stopping there in the last couple of years. The Toviere is ok as is the one below it on the Prariond piste. There a great little one at the top of the Chaudannes lift above Tignes La Lac, we usually stop off the for Vin Chaud before skiing back home. Well worth a lunch stop too. |

If you lose someone, post it up on here and we'll keep a watch on the webcams for them.

Man up! They do piste it regularly, you just need to time it right. |

I don't but would suggest the biggest vertical drop would be either top of the Grand Motte down to Val Claret, or top of L'Aiguille Perce down to Le Brevieres. Both would be around 1200m.
Distance wise, we'll soon know, once you upload the data! |

Distance or vertical drop? |

With a camera strapped to my head I'll be doing little else! I have a feeling Jockeys will need several takes.... |

 I'm hoping for blue skies for our January holiday, I'm aiming to film all the slopes on my list of must do 3V runs. I might even be able to edit in some Alpine Replay graphics of the route, talk about geeks on the piste! |
