I hope this review of Saas Fee is of help:
"Saas Fee is arguably the most beautiful village in the Alps. Its winding, car-free streets are flanked by traditional Swiss chalets and cowsheds and dwarfed by 13 4000m peaks, the 4545m Dom and a glacier that seems to hang right above it. Its quaint appearance belies a vibrant party scene, there are excellent restaurants and hotels, good non-skiing activities and it's an idyllic spot for families. Saas Fee is car-free, so drivers have to park outside the village and find their accommodation on foot or via an electric taxi (most hotels offer a shuttle service)... Insanely picturesque village with lively nightlife... A cheaper, less crowded alternative to neighbouring Zermatt...High altitude makes for excellent snow." :D |

Layers depending on the weather! Long sleeve thermal + T shirt + fleece and Jacket for the cold. When it's less cold then just T shirt + micro fleece. I have, on occasions, worn just T shirt under my jacket.
A good pair of mittens is a must for me! If it's really cold then I stop regularly for a hot chocolate and warm up. :D |

Lmao I would love to see pictures of you skiing down your roof...Do you wear a santa suit?! |

They like to go fast. I did feel that I had to work harder on them than my bandits, but I'm sure it will get easier, if that makes sense. |

Just thought I'd make time to pop in and let you all know how it's going here in Morzine. I can sum it up in one word...Brilliant. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it is to get up and walk, drive or ski around a mountain to get to work. OMG, I never want to go on a tube train in rush hour again! Our flat is great and it seems luxurious compared to other seasonaires accommodation that we have seen.
I have had winter driving training and am already feeling quite relaxed driving my little left hand drive on icey hills. (We have heard that they will not be salting the roads this year because of the lake) We have already made quite a few friends including a couple of the local bar owners (We know where our priorities lie) and a local ski shop owner! Morzine is a fun place to be. It's snowing heavily here at the moment so the mountain is going to be a lot of fun tomorrow...Yippee!!! Night Night X PS the Kenja's are ace. :D   |
