While having a browse I came across this company.
They have a list of jobs available, might be worth having a look to see what's around

If you're woried about snow cover late Jan/early Feb you'll never go to either. It's got to be optimum time.

I've been to Serre Che for a day, so can't really comment - except I loved the skiing and really want to go back.

I have been to Schladming and loved it.

When we went it was a bit difficult to explore as our kids were small and in kindy in Rohrmoos so we had to get back there each day. There was a fair bit of walking to bus stops and gondolas and for us it wasn't convenient (small kids, carrying skis), but I loved it and would definitely go back.

~~The apres ski was fantastic, bars were lively and people very friendly.
We were there for New year and the celebrations were amazing, the town was packed.
In France there tends to a lot less emphasis on apres ski.

Both different places, but both worth a visit.

I dredged something from my memory as I also saw a reality tv prog about a couple setting up a ski chalet.
I think it was called No going back.
If I'm right this is them.

Packages to Germany

Because I don't have anything better to do.....

I googled 'ski package to Germany' (can't be many, it did also give me the cost of a courier!)

Oh...read your question again..no experience of skiing in Germany myself, but my son went there last year with air cadets.
Skied in several resorts (he couldn't remember the names of any when he got back, but I found a lift pass in his pocket and Obertsdorf was one of them) He didn't go to Garmisch I know that but said the ones he did go to were all pretty small.
He had a good time and the snow was very good.

Ski clothes

The 1st pair look a bit shiny in the pic...that'd put me off..

Both pairs will almost certainly be fine.

Choose the pair you prefer & that fit you the best...

You could try this site for ski gear - though of course buying online means you don't get to try it before you buy.

I hope you have a good time, you've been waiting ages for it come round!

Not been there since 2001, so could have changed a bit.
The ski area was really good although we didn't get to explore it as much as we'd have liked as our youngest was only 4yo and in kindergarten in Rohrmoos and we had to make sure we were back in time to collect her.
We were there for new year and the town was pretty lively

We really liked it.
