You can't really end up in a terrible place in Banff if that makes you feel any better! The exchange rate a few years ago was 2.4 to the £ now it is only 1.6. You can do an evening trip that Discover Banff Tours run but the Flames are absolutely gash just now and I wouldn't waste my time.
