Les Carroz and La Clusaz have gorgeous trees.
I loved Serre Cherre but I have to agree with Snapzzzz I have never seen trees lining the pistes as beautiful as in Morillon and Les Carroz -fairyland.

Sooooo jealous !
Another vote for the Grand Massif loved it there. Morillon would be a good place for beginner lessons- great, wide pistes and you have the fanatastic long green 'Marvel' run to practise on which runs straight back to Morillon.
