What a pain! After careful planning for your group for it to change. Can't believe it is because of the death of the girl , found out it was quite a few weeks ago, she crashed into a windbreak she was skiing with her father and wearing a helmet. Tragic. Heartbreaking news but pistes following an accident are not usually closed for that long.

Spoke this morning at the airport to a guy who spent the week skiing in Sauze he thought there would only be the black runs back for the rest of the season. Massive snowfall across the whole area yesterday.

Such sad news. I am currently in Montgenevre chatted yesterday to two guys who were skiing over in Claviere the day before and they said that loudspeakers told them that everyone had to go back to their own resorts as lifts were going to shut so they couldn't go any further and had to return to Montgenevre. Nobody knew why, sadly we do now. I will ask about piste closures.
