Off to Les Gets with son and beginner girlfriend on the 5th March. First time skiing twice in one year. Could you add me to the list please Ally. Thanks for all your help Mr Iceman in helping us to come to a decision.

Also following Valmorel closely as want to go in March with son and girlfriend who is a complete beginner, thought it looked good for that but need good snow.Will add comment if I hear anything.

Don't recall The Spot, where about was that? Munched at most of the knife and forks, must have missed that one!!!

Thanks for the update Andy. Pleased you had a good time, and hope you injured party is on the mend soon. I was there the week the week before you lot staying in Apartment Alpe 2000 just across the road from the Christina, great access to the lifts although often we skied from the apartment down to Les Bergers. Wall to wall sunshine all week, actually too hot. Snow by the end of the week a little crunchy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon - was pleased to see new snowfall for you on your arrival as it was needed. I agree with your comment 'Good resort if not great'. My nervous friends and I liked the green runs but I felt that there were hardly any easy blue progression runs for beginners. Perhaps if the snow had been better it would have opened up more. My husband skied all over the place but felt there were too many runs where the view didn't change much however he loved the Sarenne. Looking forward to seeing photos of your trip and hearing about the plans for 2017 !!

Have a good holiday Iceman, snow looking great and weather looks promising for bluebird days from 23rd onwards. Have a great time in Cervinia Tony,snow looks fantastic,good skiing,great views of the Matterhorn and fantastic lunches in Chalet Etoile the best place to eat imo.I am away in ADH this time next week and definitely getting excited.Although have missed the other J2ski peeps by a week.
