Knee Brace
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 11 Replies
Damaged a ligament or two in 2012 (gardening !!) and used a brace.
After a bit of fiddling I settled on a McDavid metal hinged brace which has worked well.
What I found on my first ski day was that my left knee (the injured one) was absolutely fine but my right knee was aching like mad - probably some compensation I suppose.
Since then I have worn two knee braces while skiing and things have been fine.
I use a company called FirstAid4Sport because their help (and the boss) are first class.
and we can all see that Adders is sneaking in 2 pre-Xmas trip !!!!!
Alright for some :(

You've done a great job and it will save me a lot of work this season, although I didn't really mind doing it.
Once I've worked out how to do it, I will add my own ski holiday to the list ... :)

Might take a while then .........
Is it just me.......?

One or two I expect Stevie.

Another J2 member has joined the merry throng.
We have a female share available potentially for the first week - January 21st.
A possible male share similarly (maybe).
Space in twins depending on the hotel.
Alpes D'Huez would be a good choice as AD says.
Plenty of varied terrain, easy to find your way round, meet up at pitstops etc.
Lower prices than the mega resorts.
Unbelievable (best I have ever seen) easy slopes right in the resort.
