Hi Ally You seen to be the expert here on j2. Please can you advise - I have a pair of Goretex gloves that are white (or were!) They desperately need washing as they are so dirty but the label says Do Not Wash!. I bought them years ago and had them in storage and only found them when I was back in Australia going through all our stuff and having a cleanout. I wore them this winter and they are so toasty warm that I want to keep them. I think I just answered my own question - if they are that old, wash them and find out what happens  |

Just saw this thread and it has reminded me that I have not booked ski hire for Kitzbuhel at the end of January!!! We normally use Intersport at the Hahnenkamm gondola so we can use the ski lockers there. does anyone know if we hire from Skiset if we can still use the Intersport lockers?? thanks |

I would also like some feedback on this question. My 13 year old wants her own boots and skiis (she is currently the same size as me!) but I am reluctant to buy boots that she will grow out of. Anyone have any idea when is a good age to start? We ski at least 3 weeks per year thanks Carol |

I knew I had seen it somewhere on the site  Ian, as far as the chalet goes it is owned and run by a lovely brit from Yorkshire called Andrew, and his wife pauline. The chalet staff are also great - say hi to Mike, Sara and Becky for us when you are there. Good food, free flowing wine etc. Xmas dinner was excellent and for xmas morning we had champagne while the kids did their presents from under the tree. There was also a present on the dinner table for all of us that night when we all sat down to xmas dinner together. What specifically did you want to know and I will be a bit more detailed if I can. The chalet has 7 bedrooms spread over 3 floors.Stairs are a bit steep though so I would worry if I had really little ones. The place was completely renovated when Andrew bought it 6 years ago. A middle level mezzanine floor is where the kids spent most of their time on the playstation, Tv etc. There were five other kids all the same age as ours while we were there so they had a great time too. Bathrooms all very modern and clean and plenty of heating. Position in Morillon is fantastic. Every afternoon we sat on the balcony and watched the kids play with the toboggans and mess around in the snow. The big boys also played around in the snow too doing the toboggans on their stomachs 8) We really id have a good time Carol |
