Cold Hands Problem
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 25 Replies
we absolutely swear by this type. give them a good shake for a couple of minutes as you kit up, they'll cool down a bit as the day goes on but, as Trencher says, shake your hands like a loony  or I tend to bang them together. She really will need to put them between the gloves (preferably mitts) and inners gloves because if they're next to her skin they'll burn her, they're that good.

Helmets (are they cool yet)?

I tried lots on and then bought it online having slept on it and seeking advice after the event . I love it and give it the odd cuddle now and then
I suggest you go to the largest store you can find so there's lots of choice.

I tried one of those too, I tested it by punching myself in the head and it hurt a bit  They look funny too, like beanies with a mahooosive head underneath. Not for me I'm afraid but worth a try.

Happy 09/10

I feel like 09/10 is well and truly under way given more and more lifts opening and the massive dumps appearing all over the place :D. So I thought it was a fitting time to wish you all a very merry season.

Here's to lot of skiing, snow, sun, singing crap songs, dancing on tables, improving, overcoming fears, overcoming injuries, avoiding injuries, great stories, great photos, great videos, lots of laughs, smiles and new experiences.

Have a great one

spot on. In the summer we stayed in a hotel with glass lifts and 14 floors. We were only on the fourth floor so rarely used the lift but every so often I'd get in the lift, go to the 14th floor and force myself to look down . glutten for punishment and all because of skiing
