Just to avoid any confusion, Wickers link is for "The European Gay Ski Week" which is in Alpe D'Huez, but I think the original poster is referring to the "European Snow Pride Event" which is being held in Tignes on the dates stated above.
http://www.europeansnowpride.com/ Hope anyone who attends either events has a great week :D |

Suggest you start checking to see if you can fit her in, otherwise you are going to have one upset daughter on your trip  |

  Not sure about that Icy. Those volcanoes can really make the night sky glow a bright pink colour when they get angry. Best you make some sort of sacrifice down the nearest hole once you arrive  |

Me too Snapzzz. Whilst there are some spectacular places round the world to view stars from, we also have some "dark sky" areas in the UK which are supposed to be good for viewing things like the Milky Way. There is a map of places available here.. http://www.darkskydiscovery.org.uk/dark-sky-discovery-sites/map.html |

Well, only having my first experience of t-bars last year in Austria, I have to say I thought they were much better than the average pommel.
Looking at the picture above, seeing a piste prepared like that, it could only have been an American resort :D who else makes cord like that? |

Whenever I need my snow fix, I will often try the South Pole web-cam
Typically though, due to weather interference, it is currently only showing a recent video of the aurora australis http://www.usap.gov/videoclipsandmaps/spwebcam.cfm |

As well as the Tignes trip, my regular group have agreed that we want to try Lech at the end of Feb. We will book it as soon as we feel there is a decent offer, otherwise we will just do it last minute.
