I don't need all singing and dancing skis give me a couple of planks and I'm happy, the bloody frogs next door have started singing...... :evil:

Chatel would be a good choice, Ian. I love the place it's a totally unspoilt alpine village with easy access to the Portes du Soleil which, as I'm sure you are aware, offers good skiing for all abilities. It's picturesque with beautiful shops, bars and restaurants. Food and drink is reasonably priced compared to many other french resorts. I've read that there are no package holidays there, which is why it less busy than other ski areas.

I think it would be right up your street...and not too far from us, so we could show you around! :wink:
